sitemap

This is NOT an automatically extracted sitemap. It should provide a quick overview (mainly for the web administrators) of the handbook folders and its use.

http://nahandbook.web.cern.ch/

main folders

    h2\
    h4\
    h6\
    h8\
each containing its folders on topics specific for the beam line as
       optics\
       performance\
       operation\
again each containing an image folder\

Additionally to the mainfolders for each beam line there are more folders on common topics like
    access\
    operation\
    target\
    radiation\
and which are reffered to by all specific handbooks.

The toc.html file in each subdirectory should contain links to all other html files in its subdirectories and as well to the html files of interest contained in the folders of common topics. Links should be placed on a seperate line in order to facilitate the making of the pdf version (can still be improved).

The pdf version is created by htmldoc.cxx running on a unix platform, called by
    perl makepdf.pl <#beamline>
The perl routine (/afs/cern.ch/user/a/afabich/public/nahandbook) extracts the list of html files to be included from the toc.html file (in each handbook folder). The new pdf version has to be copied to handbook.web.cern.ch manually (can be automised, but this is not worth it). Obey, that the very first html file (except frontpage.html) starts with a header of type h1, otherwise the conversion will not work.
