A positive current in B7 selects positive particles for the VLE setup. A S-type quadrupole with a positive current defocuses in horizontal plane. Q19 should defocus in horizontal plane. Therefore a positive current is needed. Bend8 is inverse connected to the pair of Bend7, therefore the current has to be the same. Q20 needs a current of opposite polarisation as it is connected as Q19. Q21 should focus horizontally as Q20, so same current polarisation. Q21 is connected inverse to Q21, also same current.
